Grace of God Sermoncast
Mark 9:2-10. "Can Sinners Behold God?" Transfiguration Sunday.
Show Notes

Thanks for listening! In this episode, we explore the truths Jesus reveals about himself on the Mount of Transfiguration. We find that he is the God of the Old Testament, who spoke with Moses and Elijah on mountaintops. We recognize him as the Lawgiver. But most importantly, we see him to be the God of mercy and grace, whose faithful love abides throughout generations.  This is the God who allows himself to be seen.

So, grab your Bible and open your hearts as we embark on this spiritual exploration together. Join us in Mark 9 verses 2-10  as we discuss the Savior that we need.

This Sunday sermon, based on Mark 9:2-10, was preached at Grace of God Lutheran Church on February 11, 2024.  This sermon is preached by pastor Timothy J. Walsh, a member of WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod). Scripture selections come from the New International Version. Other readings this Sunday came from Exodus 33-34 and 2 Corinthians 3-4.

Our services are at 9:30am every Sunday morning, at our campus in Dix Hills on Long Island. Visit our website for more information, at www.graceofgod.church
